Flipper Delta is a type of offshore anchor that can also be categorized as Superior High Holding Power (SHHP). It is mostly used in the offshore and Oil & Gas industry for offshore operations and dredging. It is adapted to different sea beds and is easy to use.

EXISTING SIZES

The Flipper Delta is an anchor that comes in a wide array of different sizes, starting at the smallest ones that weight between 500 and 1000 kgs. The medium-sized Flipper Deltas have a weight span of between 2000 to 9000 kgs. The largest ones, which are used in extremely large scale offshore operations can have any size between 10000 and 75000 kgs, which are used in very limited scenarios.

The Flipper Delta is one of the standard oil rig anchors. It is the evolution of the regular Delta Anchor, with several improvements, such as adjusting the penetration angle.

OFFSHORE ANCHOR

Besides being used as an oil rig anchor, the Flipper Delta is used as an Offshore Anchor in other kinds of operations. However, it's main use remains in the oil rigs.
