The original wide body shackle manufactured by Crosby, also known as the Crosby G 2160 shackle. It's special body design brings more surface area, resulting in a high protection of the wire rope against friction and bending deformities.
We have in Stock in our Norwegian facilities several units of the original Crosby Wide Body Shackle, second hand, which are used and in good conditions.
We also offer an alternative design to these wide body shackles. A first hand alternative shackle which is new and has never been used.
The Crosby G2160 Wide Body Shackle starts on small sizes weighting between 1,81 and 6,8 kgs each. While the medium sizes are heavier, starting at 11,34 and going all the way up to 87 kgs. There are bigger Crosby Wide Body Shackles, with sizes starting at 191 kgs and that can weight up to 3650 kgs, which is almost four tons.
