The well known End Joining Shackle is a specialized type of shackle widely used in Offshore Mooring. This one in particular, is the round pin type. It is made out of forged steel, and it is primarily used for temporary mooring rather than LTM.
We have our Second Hand End Joining Shackles in Stock, in Norway, and in other EU locations such as the Netherlands or Germany.
We also supply our own type of End Joining Shackles, from our own maker, and we have them mostly in Stock in Asia Pacific locations such as Singapore.
The size of a mooring End Joining Shackle depends on the size of the offshore mooring chain that it is connected to. It can connect any chain size, however, the most common sizes are between the 82 mm and 90 mm chains.
